CGA ...... just making it to medal play will be a huge accomplishment. I really like their chances in a head to head competition. We have two young ladies that can go toe to toe with anyone in the country and others that are very capable.

Yes Sir. If Melena has her driver hitting square, she can take it low. Consistency. But as you know, we're a very young team. Future is bright. Syd Syd from Chesnee imo may be one of the best next year.

Rough start ...... 6 bogies ..... no birdies. Maybe a little nervous on the first few holes, but hopefully we don't wait too long to turn it around. Plus, you never know how the course is playing until more teams get started.

Was just thinking the same thing. Couldn't have had a worst start. No red. Duke with 2 birdies and 3 pars on the par 5 11th. Smu with 3 birdies and 2 pars... we leave with 2 pars and 3 bogeys. Obviously the hole can't be playing that difficult. Too aggressive? Who knows but we didn't play it to well.

Whatever the men's and women's golf program are doing on Par 5's isn't working. They lose A TON of strokes on holes we should be gaining.

We do. I can't remember a tournament where we were first. Oddity. They tell me it's not length. But if you look at the stats, we're next to last in every category. 3, 4 and 5s. This is as bad as I've seen them play... and most of the top ranked teams had tge afternoon rounds.
We're young and first time playing nationals. Plus, they're probably not used to a harder, longer test. Just guessing though.
