I really did think QAnon was done after that. I mean, as that Marine guy who shot up the Comet Ping-Pong Pizza Parlor was being led away in cuffs, he said something to the effect of: "I guess I got some bad intel."
It's like: you think? I mean, the dude tore the building apart for hours, looking for the kids he just knew were stashed in the pizzaria's basement, only to finally have to reluctantly admit...there maybe was in fact, no basement. Oopsie. News flash: 4chan and reddit are maybe not the best sources of "intel".
Didn't even make a dent. QAnon kept right on keeping on, even added some really cool riffs like Jewish Space Lasers and Lizard People overlords to the mix. Jack Posobiec, the alt-right influencer who had spread most of the rumors, ended up getting a gig at Newsmax.
