This fanbase is so pathetic thanks for staying strong #ClemsonFamily. "Fire this guy, Bench that one, This one sucks" You really find out which ones are which when things don't go your way. We have very talented players on this team and our expectations are not unreasonably high. Something is wrong and you should look to the CEO/coach for answers. Love Dabo but I expect him to properly evaluate. He gets paid a lot to make tough decisions.

This. Dabo has earned criticism by hiring friends and former players. Hes put himself is a tough position. If we can see what wrong with the offense I guarantee you he can also. This team has so much talent its criminal they aren't put in a better position to win. Dabo is the best coach we've ever had and I hope he makes the right decision when its time. At this point hes the only one who can say when that time is.

This is different. Dabo made such a big deal when he hired Tony You remember the stories
I don’t think he was that close with Napier and Spence and that DC he fired 5 minutes after he got the job. I think sometimes he lets his mouth paint him into a corner. I just hope when he hires these ex players he makes it clear that he will fire their A—/ if the time comes

This is a pretty typical reaction but some of it is warranted ...our offense is putrid...we have not even gained more than 300 yds against a D-1 team yet this year. The calls for changes to coaching on the offensive side are warranted and those with an indepth knowledge have questioned Elliott for a few years now.
But people need to come to grips with his season. It's not going to change very much..we will get better but I would be absolutely floored if we can out up 40 pts and 500+ yds against anyone this year (outside of sc state)

I look forward to spending more time with my 2 year old daughter on Saturdays, but that doesn't mean that I am happy about it. I am not happy with our offense and I hope they are not happy with the product that they have put on the field. I tend to think it is coaching but I will leave the how to Dabo to correct. However, unless you have no interest in Clemson football, you should hope that there is some change in the status quo.

Tired of that from the basketball situation!
We are supposed to be elite in football! We played better with 2-4* players than we are with 4-5* players.
As we lost influence of creativity from Morris we still seemed to always adjust and make the plays we needed to make. Jeff Scott left and all creativity has left the building,
So we had a great series of plays when the game started for our first TD. We looked 100% pedestrian after that. Please tell me why I can tell you what play we are going to run? Why is it a run up the middle every first down? Then pass and pass, both usually incompletes? I'm not a coach but I can tell you the plays 90% of the time. If I can, guys with teams getting paid hundreds of thousands will definitely figure out the scheme.
Dabo has to know that Elliot is horrible without Scott!!!

You act like this is a church softball league... coaches are paid millions of dollars a year and players are getting six, sometimes seven figure endorsement deals. Like it or not, college football is a business. IPTAY collects thousands upon thousands of dollars a year from most of us. So with all that, criticism of the horrendous product on the field is warranted.
This, support our players/coaches under all circumstances, even when they suck, or you're not a "true fan" schtick is getting old.

The only thing pathetic is your lack of accountability for this coaching staff. As fans we pay tens of thousands of dollars a year. Forgive me if my expectations are a little higher than those of UNC or Boston College fans. I expect our head coach (at the very least) too acknowledge his so-called “dude” of a quarterback isn’t cutting it. I expect our head coach to hold our offensive line coach accountable to produce more capable offensive linemen who don’t run into each other as if they still play in the pee-wee leagues. I expect our head coach to hold our offensive coordinator accountable for calling an anemic offensive game plan.
So yes, some of us demand accountability, not to be confused with perfection. Like it or not, for a program to continue to be elite it has to have elite funding. In order to sustain that elite funding the donors have to be reassured their investment is protected by accountability. Your misguided my friend in your comment on “y’all are pathetic”. We are instead passionate and love our program and the history behind the program. As our program grows and develops so does our standard of accountability we hold for those in charge.

Before you say "hey bro, can we do something different?"
We went from 6 years in the CFP to a team that looks completely lost in the sauce. At some point you have to understand how disillusioned a fanbase can get in a big hurry if there's seemingly zero urgency to improve or make changes.
We didn't just sort of backslide, we fell directly off of a cliff.
