Regarding Mindless Drivel

Joined Tiger Board upon its inception 25 years ago. Enjoyed the interchange for several years. Then, with increasing athletic success (primarily football) the “keyboard experts” became more prevalent, hard to stomach. What was once a solid venue for good natured discussion has gravitated to a mechanism for verbal attack of players, coaches, professional commentators, and yes, even those with differing opinions who attackers cannot possibly know. I’m certain mine are coming based on this post…….my first in 5 or 6 years, because I normally don’t even look at the Board any more. I do enjoy catching up with the News section on a regular basis, and will continue to do so for factual information.
So, to all of you keyboard jockeys who have all the answers, especially when times get tough, please know that you embarrass yourselves with your mindless drivel. You’re laughable, pretending to offer counseling to those who’ve actually stepped in the ring……and given and taken body blows. Each of you is entitled to your opinion, but not to personal attacks on the kids who participate and sacrifice for your “entertainment” and others who actually have knowledge in their chosen fields of coaching and professional commentary, when you wouldn’t recognize #### from shinola.
Now, I’m done…….. so fire away! Heck, I might even drop back in again in 5 or 6 years in another attempt to be helpful. GO TIGERS! ????????????????????

Nope, never suggested that, only that a certain percentage who have the ability to type don’t display much knowledge of the game on this board. Again, if that shoe fits, then those folks should recognize it…….and wear it!

Support you 100%, basically shared a similar opinion and was shot down right away. Hope to see you back in 5 or 6 years when these same "experts" are shouting that they've supported the coaches and players, never said anything negative and the reason why the Tigers are back winning championships is because Dabo and staff read TigerNet and took their advice.

Some of these morons are about to be paid 15 an hour at McDonald’s or Wendy’s to repeat magic words…..”welcome to X sorority ma’am, May I take your offer please?” They’ll be far superior to you and me in 5 or 6 years! I don’t understand the perspective that people can’t discuss Clemson sports on a message board.

I skimmed you mindless dribble. Yeah, the point of the message board is to allow fans on a spectrum of knowledge and experience to discuss their perspective. In the course of posting, reading, and responding to those discussions, they may change or not change their perspective, but they will remain engaged and in the topic, in this case, Clemson Football.
