Just shows how good we are becoming when the major programs are losing recruits to us and come calling our recruits. Suck it Florida

I hate UF, but unfortunately with the rest of east being

Aug 11, 2012, 7:28 PM [ in reply to Re: Recruit Update: Florida still recruiting Clemson commit hard ]

crap, it paves a cakewalk for south carolina.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I hate UF too, primarily because of Charlie Pell

Aug 11, 2012, 8:23 PM

That SOB was a dirty recruiter extroidinare, left us at the drop of a hat for UF and got them on probation too.

All that said, he had one redeeming side benefit. He got us Danny! And Danny got us a national championship.

So I assume he wants to be #11?

Aug 11, 2012, 11:39 PM

either him or Chad Kelly will have to change numbers to ever be on the field at the same time

Re: So I assume he wants to be #11?

And considering that Chad Kelly is the older one on the team, I'd assume that Kelly would keep #11 and Robinson changing numbers. That is unless he can strike a deal with Kelly.

Thats the way I see it

Aug 12, 2012, 10:09 PM

Although Kelly was #12 in high school, if him and Tony McNeal get a deal, then Robinson could keep 11 and McNeal could take another

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I don't see McNeal staying

Aug 13, 2012, 8:48 AM

if he's healthy enough to play after this year, he'll take his eligibility and go somewhere he has a chance of seeing the field.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Go to FL, may win the east but get pounded by the west OR

Aug 12, 2012, 1:43 AM

go to Clemson, win the ACC, and play for a NC. The sec least is the junior division, nobody in the sec least stands a chance against Bama and LSU.

His mom is very tall in that picture she is just 2 or 3 inches shorter than he is.

Clemson vs...

Aug 13, 2012, 8:15 PM

While I agree with the points about Florida's arrow possibly pointing down at the moment, I think one of the main things young players coming out of high school is their personal success within a system...

Which is why after last season, Clemson should be on every top-level receiver's list. While my opinion is obviously biased, it isn't necessarily wrong. Of course Sammy is a one-of-a-kind talent, and our whole receiving corps is very strong, but the way Tajh was able to spread the ball around last year was amazing. This was especially impressive since it was the first year of the system, and also considering how much we sputtered down the stretch.

Receivers can put up big numbers early and often in The Chad's system and thanks to the spacing his system creates, they can show off their athleticism too. It can be underneath, quick & shifty like Sammy or deep down the sideline like Nuk or Bryant (and obv Sammy too).

Hopefully this will also translate into strong QB classes since they too will be able to put up big numbers. Tajh and Chad Kelly could be a great start to this offense assuming they work hard enough to advance their games and don't get fat n' happy.
