Yea a lot of hope early and midway through the season. I do not keep up with the personnel but wondering if we have some players out they may have aided in the late season collapse. Hard to make sense of it unless we were playing low level competition most of the season.

Not been real dominant in any ACC series. Hitting has been inflated by early to mid season schedule.

Totally agree. They went from being super aggressive to being passive and it all happened during the FSU series where they swept us. This has shown up dramatically at the plate where they are swinging at balls out of the strike zone and standing there like statues with the bat on their shoulder as perfect strikes cross the plate. Taking the good pitches and swinging at bad pitches is not going to produce runs. Seems like the FSU series gave them a big dose of reality that they have not been able to deal with.

Not as good as we’d hoped. Still a solid team in year, what, 3? Whenever Cagle leaves then we will be in a mess.
