I hate to say it but I agree. I cannot make myself watch a Clemson basketball game.
I loved it back in the years that they were truly competitive. When the conference was leading the nation.
Not so much anymore.

I cant watch them either as long as BB is coach. Now that the Softball team is playing, I do watch them and its a lot better than watching the Basketball team destroy themselves at the end of every season.

When was Clemson competitive when the ACC was the premier basketball conference? You must be talking Barnes, pre-Barnes era. It certainly wasn't under Shyatt or OP. Truth be told Clemson still can't recruit five players who consistently score and rarely suffer cold shooting streaks. This team reminds me of the team that beat No. 1 UNC the same day Earnhardt was killed. Will Soloman scored like 32 points.

How much does BB get paid per year? ( before anyone says "too much", know that most have already figured that out) $2.75 2023/2024, $3 2025/26

Whats the buyout? About $3 mil to sit on his ###

Considering that he has "done so well" this year, it wont happen this year. When donors stop donating, crowds dry up, he'll go away.

Clemson needs to save time just lose next 4 games and not worry about NCAA tourney. Once against they are behind late in game where needs 3s to win. They choose 2pt buckets and fouling. I thought Clemson was smart school their basketball team this year terrible at addition. ACC officiating is always terrible against Clemson in basketball still had chance at the end except 2 pt buckets and fouling never works in Clemson's favor. Most ACC team nearly perfect from FT line against Clemson.

We gave up way too many easy ones to Louisville, particularly in the first half.
The zone was effective for a few minutes late....but maybe we should have done that earlier.
Seems like most of the quotes were about our offense...but I believe we lost this defensively...never really had an answer.

This is probably the game that ultimately gets Brownell fired. It is hard to find an excuse for losing this one. It seemed clear at the beginning of the season that Brownell's Tigers had to make the tournament for Brownell to keep his job. I seriously don't see this happening now.

BB didn’t miss a single 3 or 2 or FT. 4 of 24 from the arc gets you a loss every time unless you’re playing an early season patsy. I do fault BB for playing Schieff so much. He can’t guard, box, or score and he’s good for 2-3 TOs even though he rarely touches ball. 2 pts in 21 mins. I’d give Godfrey more mins.
