So....I just heard the real deal on why one of our RBs transferred. I won't go into which one or the why, but im sure others on here know. At least I now know where the cancer on this team lies. I assume no firings occurred to keep things quiet until the offseason. Maybe this will show Dabo why assistants should have more credentials besides just being a former player. Everything has become crystal clear as to why we are seeing what we are seeing on the field.
Again, no I will not discuss it. But I do have the right to be disgusted and disappointed and hope Dabo will do the right thing in the end.
Personally, I think it would've done this team alot of good had he taken care of it immediately. But...I guess I see why he didnt...I guess.

Believe me, don't believe me..I could honestly care less. And I wouldn't feel right about discussing it. But I've been to #### near every game since '78 as well as a donor. So if i want to state my disgust at what is the cancer of this team and more specifically this offense, then that's what the hell ill do. Don't care what he's donated, don't care what he did here. Things that have taken place have infected the whole offense and its easy to see why. The focus has not been on football and instead on a bunch of drama that was all the way unnecessary and avoidable.
And to the poster above...yeah, I absolutely do know "s$%t". Cuz thats what it is...A pile of unnecessary bulls$%t.
And it should've been dealt with immediately. Maybe we wouldn't be in the place we are, at 4-3, because of this unnecessary distraction. It pisses me off. Its stupid and its been hard watching us flounder to score points due to one big cancerous 800 gorilla in the corner. Like I said...our offensive issues are crystal clear to me now. Freakin BS.

The RB position is literally the least of our concerns on offense, so I find it hard to believe that anything he has done or is doing is the genesis of our QB, WR, TE, OL or Offensive Coordinator concerns. Seniors who thought they would start or upperclassmen fifth on the depth chart transferring is the new norm.

Maybe he doesn’t want to air out what he knows because recruits family members read boards. Maybe he does want the program looked at in a bad light to recruits and family members. How many things that go on in the facility that’s right or wrong never comes to light. What are some things that you know that you wouldn’t post. Let him have his beliefs. I know why Dukes and Dixon transferred, they were not as good as the other three RBs and they knew it. For every good play that Lyn J made, he had one where he danced around for no gain or lost yards. Dukes could not even get on the field. When he did, he put the ball on the ground. Not a great look for someone trying to get more playing time.
Mafah, Shipley and Pace have made the most of their opportunities.
I am not saying there are not other issues. If those two were clearly more talented, the coaches would have made an effort to play them more and some of those issues would have taken care of themselves. They would have also made a bigger effort to keep them around. Perhaps they wanted to be treated like CJ Spiller the player more than being coached by CJ Spiller the Coach. There are plenty of other schools that would treat him like his talent is equal to CJ's. I hope it pans out for them where ever they land.

Just automatically declaring a guy as not talented while he's second all time in the Clemson record books in yards per carry for rushers with 1000 yards or more.
Saying Lyn-J is no good is just BS revisionist history by CJ apologists. Lyn-J made the absolute most of his opportunites when backing Etienne and looked seriously talented in the process. On top of that, you guys are the first ones to bemoan the QB protection that our line has provided while ignoring the fact that Dixon and Mellusi were excellent blocking backs, something sorely missing in Mafah, Shipley, and Pace, who are in full turnstile mode right now.
CJ is in so far over his head that he can't see daylight, and it's going to be hilarious to watch you guys fall all over yourselves to act like you knew it all along when Dabo cans him.

Again, yes I will resist the urge to state how I really feel about your post. Not that I don't know the impact of my opinion but because I do.

If your attacking Spiller then you haven't followed the team during the summer and fall reports on how much the running backs love Spiller and want to play for him. Grishalm is a pro who knows as much about his room than any other coach on the staff. Clemson has 15 players hurt and out
for the year. are you so stupid to think Alabama, Ohio St, Georgia, or any of the big boys would do any better if they had to deal with that hardship. First I don't care what you heard from your boyfriend's hairdresser.
Second, the running backs are the only position on offense that has looked decent this year. I hope Dabo looks for other problems, because I don't think that CJ is in the top 10.
