for those of us old enough to remember his "first" career, he was a mean, surly, menacing man. He was an intimidating brute to almost everyone.

Then he found religion and became a kind, jolly, very lovable guy for the rest of his career and his "GF Grill" pitchman days.

Mike Tyson has sort of followed the same path, not quite as stark, but pretty close.
