Question about NFL Red Zone

Aug 27, 2016, 12:30 PM

I was looking into adding this onto my PlayStation Vue package but had a few questions about it.

Would I be able to choose which game I wanted to watch? I read that you get to see cutdown games with just highlights. I'm a Jags fan and would like to be able to watch their games. Preferably the whole game and not be stuck watching the patriots play.

For those who have it do you think it is worth it for the 35 dollar a month price tag?

Thanks for the help

You can't choose what games to watch. Whenever a team is in the redzone they cut to that game, if multiple teams are in the redzone they'll put both games on split screen. There is no commercials so it's constant football. I it had with Comcast last NFL season and it provided good Sunday entertainment while putting stuff on the grill.

NFL red zone just bounces from game to game across the whole day. They focus solely on teams in the red zone and stay with that game till they score(or not). If more than one team is in the red zone at the same time they use splits screens.

When the number of games dwindle down to only one or two playing, they will stick with the closest one.

If a team scores from outside the red zone, they highlight back to it.

At the end of the day they show a touchdown montage of all the scores that day (in order). That's pretty cool.

I have it as part of a sports package. Wouldn't pay a thirty-five dollar stand alone price for it.

Thanks for your help both of you. Sounds like I won't pay for it for this season. I was really hoping for an option to watch my jags every Sunday.

Thanks again

DirectTV Sunday Ticket Shows EVERY GAME

It runs about $200 or so a year - which is close to $35/mo - but you have to pay for it in 6 mo (on DirectTV)....

Whatever choice(s) you make makes you. Choose wisely.

I recommend against it.

If you play fantasy football it is the greatest thing ever. I only 8 dollars through twc for it but I would pay 35 a month. No commercials all the td action. Shows pivotal turn overs. Also highlights major injuries. The host is pretty great too. It to me is literally the best thing on TV in the fall outside Clemson.

If your team isn't playing, it's the best thing you can watch--especially if you play fantasy football. It's fantastic.
