Question about beer sales

Quick question. Heading to the game tonight and wondering if beer sales are now in effect. Read something about the beer garden near the visitor bullpen. Is that a designated area that you have to stay in with alcohol, or can you consume in other parts of the stadium.

My understanding is that beer is not yet for sale. Not sure when it will officially happen. I would also imagine once it does, beer would only be sold and allowed to be consumed in that area.

why announce it when you haven't lined it up? Poorly handled. I can take it or leave it but the handling of this hasnt been good. If baseball can have it will softball have it?

Shocking that this is just now taking effect. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a ballpark that you couldn’t have a cold beer. Plus Jesus drank wine so im not sure what the hold up is.
