QB's better than Hurts that CLEMSON has faced

Saw that against us opposing QB's average 16.1 QBR
So, got me thinking.... is Jalen that much better than the ones we have faced.
Thoughts?

He had 2 recievers finish in the top 20 in the nation overall , so whether or not he's given a pass on " looking good " , he is a solid quarterback with really good players to catch his throws .

He had better games against Pitt and NC State than he did against us, and didn't do terrible against LSU.
Also, he missed the last 3 games but extrapolating his average through the 9 games he played to a 12 game season would have put him at 18th in the country in yards.
But the question was, who has been better than Hurts, and Dungey certainly was.

I surely don't think for a second that he is better than Eric Dungey QB at Syracuse.

Jackson, Finley, and Stidham are better (in my opinion).

One of those three has a Heisman, so don't think I'm alone in that opinion.

If our safetys, corners and linebackers read all their keys and are in position it will be a long night for Alabama. Another 20/20 pass/reception night would seal the deal. No one hangs with Clemson when they play the games they did against Miami. (2015 and 2017)

Pretty much all of them were better passers , but aside from Lamar Jackson he will be the most dangerous runner we've taken on . Ironic part of his danger as a runner is that a ton of it comes behind him being unable to find an open reciever .

Hurts as a runner
Dec 18, 2017, 4:12 PM

If you read the Tide message boards.... They don't want him running. They believe he needs to hand it off or make a quick read and throw.
So basically they want him to do exactly what he hasn't been doing. It will be interesting to see what the gameplan will be.

I hear ya....
But seriously, if we can hold opposing QB's to an average of 16.1.... and some better than Hurts..... I'm feeling quite optimistic about a double digit win to kick off 2018!
