QB sneak on 3rd and 22 was flat out stupid

No idea if that was a called play—I think it was based on how quickly Cade took off—but that was the absolute WORST play call of the entire game, especially when you’re down 17 in the 4Q. Second only to the complete coaching failure to keep Randall and Turner in the game.

Yeah I think he was a designed QB draw, obviously 3rd and 22 would be almost impossible for us to convert vs Georgia but would have loved to see some aggressiveness there.

I think Cade rushed it. He does that a lot. He didn't give enough time for the play to develop. But either way, it was a very stupid playcall.

Definitely waaaaaay too conservative for me.

Those bubble screens were also not it for long down situations. Would've preferred us to hit some quick slants or something else to get us 5 yards. I'm like, are their DBs really jamming us that bad at the line???

Also, Brinny needs to be more involved. Dude was underutilized against UGA

Brinny needs to learn how to get off the ball when the ball is snapped. At least 3 occasions the DE or linebacker was in the backfield before he even came out of his stance.

it didnt really matter as we werent picking up 22 against them. But it was stupid. It was a give up call

because the amount of variables that could go into it are legion.
As you mentioned, was it even the called play?
Did an o-lineman get blown up and Cade had to improvise?
Had they seen something with Georgia's defense that made them think it would work?
Was someone dinged up, so the play was called to just safely get them off the field?

We'll likely never know, but the honest answer is by that point they knew they weren't winning and chose the safe play that would limit the damage.

And that sucks, but is also understandable.

Painfully obvious that Dabo doesn't trust his OC or QB. This is ridiculous.
