The game on Saturday was a barometer of where the team stands. Some players including Myles Murphy and KJ excelled. Both the Orange & White Defenses largely outperformed the Offenses.
QB play was relatively even with Klubnik being on campus just three months. IMHO he showed more mobility, touch & consistency than other QB's. That said, the QB competition remains wide open.
The objective of this poll is to measure post-Spring game TNet opinion on QB play this season.

I just hope the QB (whoever) throws more touchdowns than last years average of 0.69 passing TDs per game.

where Cade sits atop DJ's Shoulders and throws darts from 12 feet up in the air, it will be unstoppable. Oh, and I already checked the rules, nowhere does it state that all 11 guys must have both feet on the ground when the ball is snapped.

While most observers would say that Cade K performed better, Dabo has to manage a team roster. Decisions he will make will almost certainly be based upon many considerations, with passing accuracy being one of the many.
For example, I'm betting that he's hoping Cade can gain 20 pounds over the summer and that DJU loses 20 more pounds.
Setting-up disappointed players for the xfr portal is way too easy with the current rules.

Myles Murphy would have killed Cade numerous times if allowed to hit the QB. Cade holds the ball too long. He will definitely get injured if he doesn’t adjust.

I think Cade will get a series in each half no matter what. He will finish the WF game and be named the starter for NC State. Allowing DJ to transfer without losing a year.

I'm still trying to think of a trick play where we break the sideline huddle and send KJH5 in at QB instead of DJU5. Not sure exactly what KJH5 could do with the ball in his hands on offense that would be positive, but the other team wouldn't recognize the QB switch until the play was over and hopefully we scored.

once again have a VERY good defense this year. Butt, unlike last year, we will have a very viable 2nd option at QB when DJ continues to struggle. I can't see Dabo being willing to flush a possible unbeaten season down the drain by letting DJ hang on to the starting job, if Klubnick shines in the limited play he is certain to get.
If you're gonna struggle, do it with the kid who has the brighter future. That is Klubnick, without a doubt. At this point, I honestly do not see DJ ever being anything more than barely adequate. Every play looks like a chore, even when it is successful. Meanwhile, Cade already looks more comfortable in our system than DJ does, even with 2+ years under his belt.

Will happen between April and September. Every player has FIVE almost five months to improve. Knowing Coach Swinney this will happen. I expect every player to get better in the all important summer workouts. Go Tigers. Support the Clemson Tiger$.
