UNC had a HS defense coming INTO the game.
Weren't prepare at all, were lulled by Dabo's ultra misguided loyalty,so this multiplied their incompetency even more.
Now teams can prepare for CK2.

They had a gameplan that was going to work against DJ. The same one the South Carolina and Notre Dame used. Sell out to stop the run and make DJ beat them passing. Had we kept DJ in, this would have worked and we would have lost.
They continued this game plan and kept us from running the ball well even after Kade went in, and that makes sense. Make the freshmen QB beat you with his arm. He was able to.

Actually, the biggest "pump the breaks" reason is because we only had 385 yards of offense. Now if you consider that the first 2 and last 2 possessions were limited by personnel the 385 yards isn't terrible but it's not amazing either. The Defensive TD makes the scoreboard look a lot better.
Overall, it was a good offensive performance though.

I agree.. when we first saw DJ, we thought “yes!!.. we got another great one”. But we know how that went.
We’re not “back” with one great outing from the backup qb.. let’s let him develop and see what we got. But with that said.. I’m a lot more hopeful than I was two days ago.
