having dealt with the public almost all of my working days,i came to the conclusion a long time ago that no matter how hard you try,there will always be a certain % of the population that will never be satisfied with what you do.some people have been put on this earth whose only purpose is to complain.fortunately they are usually a small,but vocal group,and in this particular instance i think that holds true.the overwhelming # of t-netters and tiger fans in general still appreciate and support dabo.like every other human,myself included,he's capable of making missteps.,but his overall record speaks for itself.there's a reason that he's been so successful in coaching and recruiting.it's also a pretty safe bet that dabo is smart enough to have figured this out as well.he's got excellent people skills.something his critics sorely lack.besides,who would those critics replace him with?muschamp or doeren?jimbo will probably be available soon.i'll bet there's a long list of schools that would just love to have him at their place.dabo still has my vote.

Completely agree with you.
I also can't stand that some of these people actually think they have to voice their displeasure because they think they're guardians of the football team/Clemson. They say things like "we can't accept this"... please.

What's the point of a football forums if you can't argue about stuff? The whole point is to discuss what we think is going well and what isn't.
Questioning decisions is 100% fair game, and it doesn't mean you hate Dabo. I'm very happy with Dabo's decision-making. That doesn't mean I think EVERY decision has been a good one.
If someone is calling him a POS or some other nonsense, then yeah, that's uncalled-for, but if they are questioning recent recruiting, hiring or roster management, that's _supposed_ to happen here.

I’m just gonna say I’m tired of being called a non-fan. There is no excuse for losing the way we did to South Carolina this year and that is on Dabo and DJ . if we become complacent then that’s exactly how we’ll play ,like a mediocre team which is the way we played or some of the kids played this year… and when you’ve got players on our team, who have complained about DJ, then you bet the fans are gonna support that. But Coach was blind to DJ ‘s performance!

There's no excuse for losing to a mediocre team like Scar. It's all on Dabo, and I'm angry about it. That doesn't mean I hate him. Quite the opposite. He just made a huge mistake in coaching that game.

The “ this unacceptable crap” is just that it is crap!
You don’t deserve anything! It’s a ball game! If you actually knew anything about coaching you would know that Dabo made all the right calls and that Clemson had every chance to win right up until the punt fumble.
I guess you think that was Dabo’s fault and Streeter’s and DJ’s.
The the bad coaching of the game as Beamer going for it on 4 and 1 from his own 35 but hey it worked out for em. Sometimes you don’t win a ball game. A fan does not gripe and moan and go I deserve to win every time because I am better than everybody else because I chose to pull for this team instead of that one… good grief!

Thank you and you are absolutely correct. Dabo has chosen to live his life a certain way and there are plenty of recruits who come from quality families who have values that include faith and education. Those young men who have a chance to be part of the Clemson family, as well as all of us, are blessed that Dabo is our coach.

It is very difficult for me to find fault with our football program. Does that mean that I agree to everything that is done?
No but things are in the right hands at Clemson University. Sports,academics, etc. Good people doing good things join in the fun!

during his tenure. Sustained excellence.
My intro to Clemson football was during Hootie's tenure. A bland unimaginative underachieving coach. Now there was plenty there to complain about. In fact no aspect of his tenure was acceptable much less excellent.

Y’all are so sensitive and fragile. Dabo refusing to change the garbage QB out, and being stubborn as a mule about anything resembling change, and making comments in public that a lot of people (not us) see as a little crazy, is why he is being judged. He’s fine with it. You people can’t take it.

A lot of you guys are waaay to sensitive and act like little children telling other kids their daddy isn't stronger than your daddy.
Dabo is the head coach of a major football program, having critics is part of that and no one understands that more than dabo
And he deserves criticism this year, everyone sitting on a couch watching football could see that DJ was holding back the football team, no way a man getting paid 10 million a year to win football games couldn't see it, and it's not like he was right and We were wrong, we were proven right in the acc title game when dabo finally had to tuck his tail and admit he was wrong.
I love dabo...he is in my opinion a top 5 cfb coach of alltime...but he absolutely deserves criticism for how he handled The DJ situation AND his hiring of coaches that he's close to instead of the best available..
Grisham as wr coach has been atrocious.
But would I call for his job? Of course not....do I trust him to win games? Absolutely.
Is he beyond criticism when he makes foolish choices like sticking with DJ and making sure we lost to south carolina AND missed the cfb playoffs? no he isnt...he deserves the critics.
He deserves to get his just due when he's great
He also deserves critics when he does bone head stuff
Stop acting like dabo is jesus...he isnt...

He’s given me some of the best memories of my life. But he’s not perfect. And he’s not above criticism especially when he’s being as stubborn about it as he has lately.

Dabo hears the critics and guess what? They are not just posts on Tigernet. He is still a great coach, but some things he is doing may need adjusting. Just like a Fortune 500 company. You make adjustments to increase revenue, improve culture, etc.
What the CEO/board does is on them.
We all have our opinions and this forum lets us express them.
Now let’s get our focus on the orange bowl.
Dabo is going to do what he wants to do.
