It appears that after a considerable period of time locked in at 85%, Judge Keller's pulse has finally changed. It currently stands at 84%. I know a lot of folks quit bothering with giving him TDs since it seemed to have no effect. Feel free to resume your good work at this time.

That's not what he said. Not getting an extension is not the same thing as getting fired.
I do expect one of two things:
Brad is fired
Brad is extended
If it's the latter, neither his buyout nor his salary should be increased.

That would be the dumbest thing Neff has done as AD. Saving his skin by finally making the tournament should not be grounds for a raise. Hell we could very easily lose that first game then I’d still fire his butt. Make it next year then I’ll be impressed.

When he's shopped the portal the last two seasons it has been to play with PJ Hall as the anchor of the team. What's his pitch going to be next year? I imagine we struggle to make the NIT next year and am relatively certain that Brownell will be the coach. But, if Neff resists the urge to give him anything more than a one year extension (no reason he should given that Brownell has been producing some of his best work under the gun), maybe Brownell will pull a rabbit out of his hat. If Neff and Brownell can find the right balance of fear based incentives to keep him moving forward then that would be fine with me.

I hate that EVERY SINGLE THREAD devolves into a pissing contest between the Brownellers and anti-Brownellers.
I just want Clemson to win. I think we can do better than Brownell, but I also know we can definitely do much worse. If Brad gets us in the NCAAs and wins a game, it would be hard to justify firing him. However, if we go on a skid to end the year, go one and done in the ACCT and NCAAT after backing into the field as a 10 seed or something...then that's different.
But until then, let's just watch the game and pull for the basketball Tigers!! We can sort the rest out at the end of the year.

The problem is if we make the NCAAs and we extend him and then get 4 or 5 more years of the same.
Some people are claiming that the team is getting better year to year but I'm concerned about regression to the mean.

How has that "let it play out" attitude worked in the past? A massive raise and extension after an NIT season that allowed him to weather seasons that should have ended this years ago. Then another massive raise and extension after making the Sweet 16 whereupon he has immediately regressed. Shrinking attendance and shrinking revenue haven't sent the message. The AD has publicly shifted the goal posts for Brad's retention. They're all but begging for full blown fan revolt before they make the logical move.

I would have fired him after 2016-17, for the record.
But the back and forth is exhausting. I also don't think -- and feel free to correct me if I am wrong, I'm not afraid to admit it if I am -- that attendance has actually shrunk at all. I go to every home game and it looks the same if not better than it has in years past.

These statistics aren’t surprising and reflect fan fatigue.
So what’s the area under the curve I wonder??? Meaning we should be able to calculate opportunity cost of the base case compare to what’s possible for attendance and place a number on that.
That would be data.

They wrote back and told me it was an error. They said they fixed, but also informed me that when JK does not like what is said, he puts them on ignore and that prevents his pulse from being affected by those people. So, those down votes don’t count.
