door. You can count on two touchdowns from the 9 minute mark of the fourth quarter to the end of the game. Always an interesting ending and sloppy ending.

last year. I agree "Prevent D" is not effective - some many mediocre teams came back at us last year - USuck, Syracuse, and then UNC in ACC champ. What happens to the pass rush, last year, he blamed it on not enuff depth, well that should not be the case this year!

Well, it is pretty obvious that you didn't watch the Miami game last year! Are you trying to say that a 58 to nothing shutout didn't slam the door!!!

We gave them both 4th quarter TDs. The first with dumb penalties, the second with going into Prevent too early.

I agree with what you are saying but I also have to a those who criticize the prevent defense. I hate it. What in the heck is wrong with sticking with what got you to the point you are at in the game? Why switch to a prevent defense when almost every time you see a team do it, the other team catches up in a hurry. It is a rare thing to see a prevent defense prevent anything!

With that defense? Yes. With most, prevent "prevents" the other team from scoring.

You see it week after week, not only Clemson but other teams as well. When you only rush 3 most any D1 quarterback can find an open receiver given enough time. Totally agree, prevent doesn't prevent anything.

You would not have to slam the door if the #### offense could find the end zone more than
three times a game.
