He will be called on heavily against Texas. Excellent OL which gives their QB time to pass and receivers to get open

Sammy Brown is a difference maker and a great pass rusher. TJ Parker has really come on down the stretch. Wes has some blitz options to keep them off balance.

Without a QB who can make things happen with his legs, I think we knock Ewers around a bit.

Sammy is good but having 3 LBs helps our defense because our Dline is weak. Parker is currently the only Rnd 1 guy we have on the DL. PWoo will be probably Rnd1 if we would let him play 100% his natural position. Our DE situation is not great and Denoff/Hoffler are not starters yet here we are . Having 3LBs backing up the DL should have been called most of the season with teams running down our throat. Not continuously playing 3LBs against USC was just plain dumb coaching.

Texas Oline has given up 13 sacks to Georgia in 2 games this year…total for the year I think I saw was 24…sounds like they didn’t perform real great against their best competition in pass protection

Our staff loved him during the recruiting process. Rivals bumped him up to 4-stars in their final rankings while the others had him at 3-stars. Was very underrated coming out of high school.

Maybe not the most talented in terms of pure speed or size

But the one that was the most prepared to play from day one

I’m sure y’all will think of some others, but he seems to have smarts, poise and technique well beyond his years

Ashton is a great player. The INT against the VT wideout was special. I think with his range and coverage skills he will be a big impact player for the Clemson secondary.
