I haven't been on here much because I spent over 9 days in hospital. Went in what was thought to be appendix, but it turned out I had a tumor that caused my appendix to burst. When this tumor burst it caused all kinds of problems, plus left seeds that could become cancer later on.
Luckily the tumor wasn't cancerous, but I still have to go to Baptist Hospital (only a few do this) for another operation and chemo. I go Tuesday for my follow-up and see what we do next.
it has been a crazy time for my family, but we've been surrounded by family, friends and prayer.
I ask all that pray to send one up for me and my family. We'll take them all as I travel the road to recovery.

Please tell me that Baptist is not Easley Baptist though. Wake Forest Baptist good-Easley Baptist not good.
A good hospital with a Cancer center is a must. Prayer and good medicine work wonders. I see so many people treated in places that do not have the resources that bigger, university hospitals do and have a bad outcome as a result.
