Yes, political posts on Clemson FOOTBALL board deserve a thumbs down.
You say it was not an issue for you, yet you are still going on about it. You gave me 2 thumbs down in retribution, so maybe we can let that be an end to it.

I just don't care much for the passive aggressive amongst the "real" members of this bored. If it was the FBB, my bad, but if it was I think I was trolling UGA. A TD, no, no issue, just the "you didn't call me out." If it's deserved it's deserved, fo sho. Just, "say it" next time?

I’m good with either or something in combination with a revamped Big 12.

My preference of the two listed would be the Big 10. I'd like to see Clemson expand its footprint on the national scene beyond the southern US. Having said that, I honestly wish they could stay in the ACC if the ###### TV package with ESPN could be reworked...

The SEC would provide shorter travel and more natural rivals, but I think the Big 10 needs us more than the SEC. I vote BIG

Because then South Carolina becomes a conference game as it should be. We can play Georgia again regularly (used to back in the 80s and it was awesome)
Geographically it makes more sense for Clemson to be in the SEC than either the Big Ten or the ACC. Compare campus distance. Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee and Auburn are closer than NC State, North Carolina Duke it Wake.
Plus playing in the ACC is boring.
Big ten would be very interesting but we may lose the South Carolina game since they currently have a 9 game conference schedule. Travel will be a nightmare, especially for lower sports.
So yes my vote is for the SEC

Better rivalries, easier to recruit, easier traveling to road games. The nearest B1G school is an 8.5-hour drive from Clemson. Clemson's also not an AAU school, so the B1G might not even want us. Decent chance they will add Oregon & Washington (or maybe Notre Dame) in the next few years, and if they do the SEC will want to match them.
