In 6 games ,Clemson is averaging 20.5 points per game(14.8 if you take out the 49 points against State and divide by 5).Did you see enough improvement last week against Syracuse too think we put up 27 at Pitt ,especially with some of the excuses our coaching staff has been throwing out about our anemic offense the past month.
We might win, but we had better keep their offense from scoring 21 points or more. After all, according to our "Brilliant" OC.(Dabo's description) we "need to score more points".

SC State really should not count. Although somewhat following your logic look at just the FBS games. The average is 14.8 points. Lets add 10% for slight improvements in offense and it is basically at 17 points. A win would be 17-14.

More likely is 24-17 Pitt. I hate attempting to be realistic, but unless Clemson gets lucky or finally finds its mojo I think we come out with a loss. I hope I am wrong as wrong can be.

You should stop leaning on that. It was the first game of the year and the #1 team has gotten markedly better as the season has progressed. the have soundly beat really good teams...ranked teams. Such is not the same with Clemson who has struggled defeating mediocre teams. If we played Georgia again I am pretty sure they would mop the field with us. Sadly there is zero chance of that happening again this year.

I think the key to this game is points. Call me crazy but if we score more points than Pitt we might just have a slight chance to come out of there with a win.

If the offense can keep some drives going and keep the defense off the field for a little bit, Clemson could pull it off, will be a low scoring game. Less than 20 points on either side. Hope the good games have one more than Pitt.

When our team started being so average. We would get destroyed by Bama. Pitt is more close related to Clemson's abilities. Clemson by 3 in a dogfight.

If Clemson plays like it did in their four wins of this year they will lose to Pitt 21-10.
If for some reason the offense finally finds it's magic Juju Beans and gets some rhythm Clemson will beat Pitt 24-13.
