Last night they found out early on that they could bully Cuse, so they did. I wonder what they do when someone stands up and punches them in the mouth? I think I know the answer to that question........same as most bullies do, cry and walk away. We shall see.

I have lived roughly 110 miles away from Pittsburgh my entire life and for what it's worth that has been their culture for most of my years...They have had some bad times but right now Narduzzi has them rolling...He was DC at Michigan State under Dantonio when they were really good...won the Rose Bowl....We will have to go in there ready to fight like junkyard dogs.

“Rolling” is a bit of an exaggeration, but thankfully they aren’t the dumpster fire a lot of ACC programs are. Too bad they have zero fan support, which is ultimately what matters.

clemson, pitt, smu, miami. I mean, it's not terrible. I'm thinking we'll get two more in the mix before long. Not sure where it will come from. UNC just needs to win the jackpot with a hire. FSU will have good years in the future if they can win the lottery with a qb.

Came over in pregame and tried to push up on our guys and talk sheet. It took ETN like 45 seconds to show em who really runs this block. 45-10 later they didn't talk so much.

I saw them bully us first hand at the 1977 Gator Bowl. Beat us 34-3 and Matt Cavanaugh threw for 387 yards and 4 TDs. It was an absolute butt-kickin'. They had won a natty the previous year.

I kind of like Narduzzi in sort of a funny way. He has a chip on his shoulder and I think it carries over to his team. They play tough ..... and they should. He does not apologize for kicking another teams fanny. He reminds me a little bit of the former Boston College coach who was a Marine veteran and alway had his team on an edge.

Do you happen to understand why that might be? When your D produces (3) pick 6s, all you wind up doing is turning right around and kicking it back to them. Your offense doesn't get on the field.

I get your point and agree. BUT, that's not "barely over 1 quarter of work". If time of possession was split evenly, you get 30 minutes. They had it for 19.
So, those stats are more aligned with an assertation that it's 2/3 of a game, not 1/4.

I attended the 1977 Gator Bowl where we lost to Pitt. They taunted us constantly the entire game. We were fortunate to get the bowl bid in the first place and I think the Pitt team felt the Gator Bowl was beneath them. I remember the "come here doggy, get this ball" touchdown play that really rubbed our nose in it.

I heard their coach on ACC Huddle and this is his demeanor and he talked about Pittsburgh tough. They have that mentality of bullying you and trying to out physical you. They add in extra stuff in their tackles and try to get you to push back. We will have to be very physical that game.
