Very High energy. He was the assistant HC at WF before Winthrop, so he is very familiar with the ACC. He masters the transfer portal which is sadly a necessity in today's college BB landscape. Already has regional recruiting footprint from previous coaching stops jobs. Just Sayin

Disagree. Kelsey now has two different schools he has sent to multi NCAATs at least two at Winthrop and two at CofC.
Brad had 2 at UNCW, and 1 at Wright State.
Also, Kelsey has background as player and assistant coavh at HM programs Xavier and ACC team Wake.
BB was all Div II and Mid Major teams.
Not even close...

I loved the guy, and was his biggest advocate, but he quit on that team. Seems like he is always looking for the next job. Great guy, great coach, but I would pass. If we are going to make a change, I want to see us hire someone who will have some success and stay. Just don’t trust Kelsey to be that guy.

Mid major programs are always stepping stones for coaches good enough to move up. Very few coaches like Bob Mckillop and John Kresse around anymore.
