Pagano transfer does NOT change size of 2018 class

2017 was his last year of eligibility anyway. This has no impact on our 2018 class size.
Pagano was one of my favorites, and will be missed. Watching him knock the center back into the QB, or OL into the backfield was great fun. So many big plays in big moments (Ohio State, goal line stops etc).

I think they will put walk-on on scholarship to fill the numbers.
we already knew 1 Scholly was going to a Punter
I've looked at other potential guys that could grab a scholly and I think it could be Rencher or Tisch

Right, but if he had told the coaches and they took a 2017

recruit with his scholly, then that spot he would have left open would have been filled for 3 to 4 more years. So indirectly it doesn't add another one with him leaving, but also doesn't take one away with the signing of 1 more 2017 recruit. ya HEARD!!!!

This means another five-heart walk-on scholly for 2018 on top of the one for Baker.

Nope, walk-on scholarships are on a year by year basis and that is explained up-front. The only time it becomes more permanent is when you're a Hunter Renfrow type that helps you win big ball games.
But keep it up with your ignorance, it's sort of entertaining seeing your perseverance in being wrong.

In his current position, he will receive at least 350-400 snaps on a high profile, National Championship team. If he goes somewhere that is equally high profile, he may get 150-200 snaps at best. If this is true, the kid is getting some really bad advice and this will not help his NFL profile.

No way his snaps go down wherever he goes, don't know

where that info is coming from. Can you explain that more? Go and start for a team and lose snaps? No comprende.

It might affect the 2018 class size

Coaches don't *HAVE* to award a walk-on scholarship in 2017. They've shown in the past that they don't award those just because they have one available.
Given the relatively small number of slots we (currently) have in 2018, our incredibly high profile right now, and the fact that we're in line to sign a whole lot of top-level talent in the 2018 class, I think the staff might keep that slot open for an '18 signee.

Walk on Scholarships are given on a year by year basis so it has no impact on the 2018 class if they give a walk on a ship or leave it open

Right but if they offer a walk-on a scholarship this season, I don't think they'd take it from him in 2018. At least I don't think that's the way they operate.

That is how they operate most of the time, unless the walk-on contributes heavily I would imagine.
