Orange color glasses or not I have watched the game twice

since the win. I know it was only a one point win and win nevertheless. However, that game could have easily been a 30 to 10 win for us if not for our own hiccups. If you didn't know the score and just looked at the stats that's probably where anyone would come down. Why do I mention this now? I think it shows just what kind of team and coaching staff we have! LSU could have played for the NC this year except for a few hiccups of their own. They have that caliber of a team and our boys wore their arses out! I cann't wait for the hound-dawgs in Death Valley.
GO TIGERS!
I think I will go recover from this rant on the sofa!

We have to work on our kick coverage........ And

put the best punter on the field. Field position killed us in the game. There were several times LSU picked up 25-30 yards on a punt. They also did like everyone else killed the left side of our kick coverage team.

We made so many huge plays in that game. It's hard to even

remember them all. The Blanks INT, Adam Hump recovering his own fumble, Back Shoulder on 3rd down to Ford, Gary Peters breaking up that pass holding to a FG, Malliciah sacks, Tajh throwing a dang bullet to Nuk on 2nd TD and Nuk snatching, 4th and 16...
That and we got a few PI calls that were PI but were calls that we sometimes don't get...
LSU overthrowing a WIDE OPEN TD right after the big run where Brewer, I think, got torched, missing a wide open WR on the 2nd and 2 pass, Les Miles leaving us Time Outs, etc...
I'm just so glad things FINALLY went our way. FINALLY.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that LSU has a "national championship caliber team". They beat Auburn by only 2 points, Towson by 2 touchdowns and Arkansas and Ole Miss by a touchdown. I think they were a good team. But national championship caliber? Not even close.

How many close calls did Nostra Damas have and they are playing in the NC game?

With one exception, all Notre Dame's close calls were with bowl teams.
