Optimistic about ACCCG

Let me start by saying I’m not a sunshine pumper, I was so pissed after the UGA game (I live in North GA and hate those cocky inbreeding xxxxoles), my wife was about to toss me off the back deck. Going into the SC game I told her I had a bad feeling that we would find away to lose the game at the end. And once again after the game I almost met my destiny over the deck.

I have a good feeling about Saturday because I feel we’re playing with house money and the tigers are going to play their best game of the year. I see a lot of people on here so down on this program and I get it, but it’s freaking hard to win, and yes I’ve played football and baseball (back in the day), and losing sucks! I’m almost 66 and I’ve been a tiger fan since I was a little fellow growing up in Powdersville. When I played football at Wren. Coach Jack King would get us into all of the home games for $1 to sit on the hill. What great memories but there was a lot of bad football years and some real good ones. It’s so expensive now to go to the games I just watch on tv. I remember back in the 1981 season I went to the UGA game at home with my buddy and we had no tickets. All the money I had in my pocket was $35. A guy had 1 for sale and I was bidding against apparently other broke guys and I upped my offer to $35 and another guy offered $40, but I looked at the seller and told him I would throw in a “fat boy” with my $35 and that “fat boy” sealed the deal😁

Just thought I would share something other than “the sky is falling”

Great story as I am not quite your age but close! I too have the same feeling about this weekend. Whether it is our good play or SMU’s bright lites syndrome. I feel like we are going to jump out to a quick 2 score lead and keep it about the same until the end!
