then POOF....we were content to keep a 7 point lead and stop attacking....and then with a minute left POOF - the O charged down the field with a sense of urgency and a chance to win a game that shouldn't have been in doubt.

When I first saw the offense go wild in that run of games against poor competition, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Our Offense was actually dominating. I also couldn't believe what I saw yesterday which was contentment with taking the foot off the throttle and stop trying to score by being conservative using a dinged up back.

It began in 2019. It continues.

SMU will probably force our hand to keep attacking with the amount they can score. I'm hopeful that we can throw some caution to the wind and let our guys do what they are capable of.
