I honestly think Oklahoma becomes a second tier program in the SEC and I think the odds that happens to Clemson is decent as well . However, joining the big ten would give Clemson some advantages and Clemson would be unique .

Oklahoma will thrive and more likely do very well in the SEC like texas..........you are looking at it backwards.....the sec needed ou and texas not the other way around.
OU one of the 5 blue bloods of college football history, baseball team made it to championship series, woman won 4 softball championships in a row, women won multiple basketball championships, men basketball multiple final 4's, championship gymnastics
Texas: already top 2 in womens basketball sec, good mens basketball, currently last sec team playing in football.....more baseball championships than any team in the sec
bro.....texas and oklahoma are simply going to step on the heads of the old guard....not the other way around....bama, georgia and LSU will go down, OU and Texas will keep going up, they got the money and history

How do you think SMU is now an NIL monster?

That’s in Texas. Up in Oklahoma, it’s mostly meth labs and trailer parks. Might be able to get rich like Walter White though. That might fund som NIL.

Lmao… Bro… the SEC did NOT need OU and Texas more than Texas and OU needed them.
That’s crazy and exactly why Texas and OU jumped at the opportunity. They wanted that SEC logo on their jerseys and they got it.

I have to agree bc it was OU and Texass that come knocking on the door of the SEC, unless there is proof that the SEC was tampering!!!

The BIG is a better conference at the top, but the SEC has more good teams.
I don't want to have 2 West Coast games a year, or late season cold weather games, tho.

I disagree, and here is why I disagree, Clemson and Dabo has already proven that Clemson can recruit at a level of competing with and beating the very best SEC FB team that the SEC had. With that said, IMO if we were in the SEC I believe that we could probably recruit just a little better than we were when we were competing with and beating the best that the SEC had in FB, Go Tigers and we're second to none!!!
Some of you refuse to look back at the facts that has already been proven!!!!

The SEC Bama team in the second link was said by all the sports talking heads to be the best offensive team in all of Bama's FB history. Even our most hated Paul FineBum said it was so before the kickoff!!!

Saying, SEC regrettably for me plus the locations, fans, stadiums, cities, food and traditions suit better.

The SEC and B1G both went a bridge too far.

Too many teams now and the brands get watered down. Making it hard for a dominant season to emerge that captivates the casual fan.

Yep, and if some sort of a change doesn't put the NIL in check, that one federal court ruling will be the monster that completely destroy college FB, and probably all college sports!!!

I've given up on the idea of any significant changes until there is a major reorganization of college football. It just seems like there are too many hard things to overcome to pull it off.
