The Orange picked up top portal WR Zeed Haynes from Georgia, and also picked up this year’s Ohio State starting QB Kyle McCord.
Fran Brown looks like he can recruit.
I wonder how you sell Syracuse football to these guys. Maybe Jim Brown’s name comes up a bit, but I don’t know.

The old adage "money talks" is pulling players to schools that is willing or able to pay large sums of money for services. At what point is the poor linesman, tackles and other less quality players gonna say "Let the money guy do the most blocking & tackling. It still takes a team effort to win at football.

Yes, if the guy with a pickled pepper face feels that this is redundant, there is no further discussion allowed.
It’s really fine to report these types of trends at a relatively new place in terms of buying players.
It certainly is preferable to ‘fire the successful coaches’ and ‘what’s for dinner’ posts that are for your type I suppose.

But I don’t think of money when I think Syracuse Football, do you?
You haven’t seen many big time players like this transfer to Syracuse the last few years. I don’t think they have any more money than they did 3 years ago.
Is the new coach pushing the University to provide more financial support for football? Doesn’t matter because that money doesn’t and cannot go the players.
Now that I’ve cleared up my point like I always must do with you, I’ll give you the answer because I’ve been doing some research. Should’ve researched more before posting, but oh well ticking you off works.
I guess Fran was a former Georgia coach who recruited a lot of current players who are transferring. So I think this is the answer and not what you said.

Syracuse has a significant number of wealthy and famous alumni that need to pay up to win. These two Jersey guys will dramatically improve SU recruiting in time.

New coach Fran Brown was UGA's top recruiter, and also a NJ native. He will be able to reach in the NE and, because of his ties to Georgia, the south to get some good players, including the portal. $ money is no shortcoming for anyone in power 4 or should I say the Power 2 and the other High 2 conference.

Also don't be surprised if another high QB target in the portal lands in the ACC. Rumors are that former back up QB and former 4 star Maalik Murphy might end up at Duke. He was visiting Duke today before visiting Baylor and Oregon State, and because of new Coach Manny Diaz's long relationship here, Duke might have the inside track.

In McCord's case, he has ties to a number of the coaches and players from his HS days in Jersey...not sure about the NIL $ given the last few years of Syracuse's results there may not be much there.
