and do not deserve to be one of the 4 playoff teams...very weak schedule and only quality win was their last game against Wisconsin.....any team with a loss to a terrible Va Tech team does not deserve to be in playoffs.....Go Tigers!!!!

I do not believe they deserve a top 15 ranking with schedule they played this season....and for them to be picked as one of the final four playoff teams is joke and a major flaw already in the process in which the teams are selected....Go Tigers!!!!

I hate Ohio St and especially Urban Meyer more than anyone, but you can't call them overated. Va Tech was forever ago and they hammered Michigan State. There backup qb had a shot at the Heisman and their 3rd string won a conference championship by 59 points.
Our backup needed the #1 defense in the country and best defense here in 25 years to get by Wake and BC in the 4th qtr
Let's face it, the 59-0 score gave the committee and easy excuse to pick between TCU and Baylor. Personally, I thought TCU should've gone. But I hope Ohio St & FSU get waxed, they are two of the most deplorable programs in the country

Honestly, I agree with you although I don't sound like it. The committee isn't perfect, but when I saw that Wisconsin score, I knew the Buckeyes were in. Nobody can convince me that program name recognition and tv ratings didn't factor into the committee decision. And it gave them an easy out to not choose between the 2 big12 teams. All things being equal, I agree the VTECH loss @ home was BY FAR the worst of the bunch

OSU had a better strength of schedule than both TCU and Baylor.

Frankly,you could have made arguments for,and against Ohio State,
Baylor,or TCU.
However a 59-0 trouncing of Wisconsin is all the playoff committee needed to
jump Ohio State to # 4.
Add to that,if you are only going to have a 4 team
playoff,which would you rather see,the team with the better resume( body of work)
or a marquee name?

Here's an interesting little factoid for CLEMSON and Ohio State. A year ago CLEMSON beat OSU in the bowl game. A year later, OSU is in the NC semis and made it there with their 3rd string QB. CLEMSON didn't make the semis. You gotta ask yourself - which program is improving at the faster rate? Just food for thought. Does OSU have some of the highest paid coordinators like we had? Did they have arguably one of the best D's in the country? Once you start asking questions or comparing programs, I'd say that OSU did what they needed to do to make it, and we simply failed to do that. Maybe there are underlying reasons - inquiring minds would like to know. 
Still proud of our team. We just had some bad breaks I reckon.

Oregon should be #1, then FSU, Bama, TCU. By the eye test osu is 8-10. A very down LSU team beat Wisconsin, and Wisconsin's QB play is beyond bad...much worse than Stoudt.
Do you think Bsylor or tcu's #2 QB would lose to Va tech at home?? Wake beat va tech, as did ecu and like 4 others.

I kind of like Saban. He has definitely worked for what he has. The man has an un-real level of intensity and dedication. It is no accident he takes programs to the top.
