Well espn rankings put us 4th this morning. Behind Bama, Auburn.... I'm sitting here watching the ACCN and they all say Clemson should stay #1 ... so the difference is espn is a sec lovefest, if you believe different, then your the idiot!!

Power rankings while cumulative also put a heavy weight on your most recent outing. Only an “idiot” would think that we should be number 1 in a power ranking. While some experts may agree we should stay number 1 in the polls, the power rankings are not based on or related to the polls. Regardless, as Clemson fans we should all realize this team needs some serious work and needs a reality check in the polls. We win and we are in so the polls at week 5 in the season mean absolutely nothing for Clemson in the long term. Get a grip and try to use the left side of your brain every once in a while.

That is a fair ranking. What is wrong with that? Even 5 or 6 would be fair. Nothing wrong with what they did. They are being objective.

ESPN owns the ACC network.. If they were truly out to get Clemson, then why would they let one of their networks be positive?

Dude, get over it. We are not even close to number 1. We should be behind at least these four teams. Look at the facts:
Clemson
52 - 14 Ga Tech sucks very badly, 1-3, got crushed by Temple
24 - 10 TX AM is not good; barely beat Arkansas at home; A&M lost in stats
41 - 6 Syr is 3-2, has beaten Liberty, W Michigan, Holy Cross, got killed by MD
52 - 10 no comment
21 - 20
We have played NO ONE! Granted if we don't fumble (resulted in UNC TD), don't call a timeout before sacking QB when they were on our 11 yd line (they scored), and don't miss a FG maybe it's a 24-14 or 27-14 ball game at best.

It's simple, the computer code that put us 4th obviously has a fatal error in it. Stopping the 2-point conversion in the last two minutes should have given us as many points as a 28-point win, but apparently it didn't.

Joey has Clemson at #1 and Palmer at #2 for the playoffs. As long as we are in I can live with it. Was disappointed on the playing yesterday, but every year Clemson has a game like that. People getting all bent out of shape, but the Tigers are 5-0 on a 20 game winning streak.

Ummm Herbstreit moved us down and he has 2 kids on the team! We deserve it. If/when we blow out the next 3-5 teams and other teams falter, we will move back up. And how much money does that make us? Did we win anything? Noop. Dec 8th CFP committee poll is all that matters.
