Oh how far a great program has fallen

Got 2 first rounders and another high pick on the team and can’t beat the youngest team in the nation. Jack couldn’t win the CWS but his teams made light work of teams that are in our regional this year.

Aside DeRoberts, who was always true to Jack, I can’t help but feel this is troll bait.

One of my last memories of Jack Leg was...

Jack losing to Xavier in a regional.
Xavier.
I didn’t even know they had a baseball team before that regional.
So don’t think Jack would just “breeze” thru this regional. He sure couldn’t do it the last years of his tenure, and that’s why a change was made.
Gotta give Monte some time. It’s only year 3.

Well... Why don't you go ask Jack leg to come back and coach?....

The initial post has a mentality of “the sky is falling” and while nobody likes the way we lost to Vandy, Tom Corbin can coach! Monte doesn’t like “small ball,” however there is a time for it and our team lacks several key elements despite fifteen wins in one run games; a Clemson record!
We need timely hitting with men on base! Secondly we lack a truly dominate pitcher. In other words we have been plain lucky to have produced and last night the odds caught us! While winning three games isn’t out of the question, I wonder if we now have the team to recover from a difficult loss. Time and effort will tell us.
Go Tigers!

Yeah, shouldn't we win it all now that our coach has had TWO seasons to build a program?

You are the most pathetic excuse that is on this board. At least diamond realized where he stood in here and left. Do us all a favor and follow suit

And full of bull sheet. Baseball Program is a solid winner ... not every program will be Clemson Football. But current state of athletics, academics and university is exceptional.

Jack Leggett was awful at the end of his tenure and who can forget he got beat like a rented mule by Ray Tanner, Jack's termination was long overdue in my opinion

True about the winners in these playoff formats. Those with the elite pitchers win. Vanderbilt.... don’t know how they lose 24 games this year with those pitchers. How you accumulate 5 dudes who are 6-5 and throw gas is hard to believe. Our pitching is adequate. Better than previous years, but we aren’t in that league. When Carolina won it all they had about 3 elite pitchers. Because when you have one game or two games that you gotta win if you throw a pitcher who is only giving up a run or two and the throw out a closer who is elite...you’ll win. We gotta somehow figure out how to recruit those type of pitchers
