“The 1960 Clemson Tigers football team was an American football team that represented Clemson University in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) during the 1960 college football season. In its 21st season under head coach Frank Howard, the team compiled a 6–4 record (4–2 against conference opponents), finished fourth in the ACC, and outscored opponents by a total of 197 to 124.”

Oct. 8, 1960 – Clemson defeated Virginia 21-7 and used special pants for rain protection in this game. After the contest, Clemson sent the pants to Greenville and allowed Furman to use the pants for a game that night against William & Mary. Furman Head Coach Bob King said, “after those big Clemson boys got out of them some of our guys had a hard time making them stay up and we had to tape the legs of the pants for several players.” The pants beat two teams from Virginia on the same day.
Nov. 12, 1960 – Clemson defeated South Carolina by the score of 12-2 in the first ever appearance for South Carolina at Clemson.”

The greatest prank of all-time is pulled at the Rose Bowl during the Minnesota Golden Gophers - Washington Huskies game when fourteen students at Cal Tech, located right there in Pasadena, conspire to change the Huskie card section instruction sheets to create ever more confusing images, culminating with "CAL TECH" during halftime. NBC broadcasts the stunt nationwide in a live telecast seen by millions. The Washington marching band is so stupified that they stop playing and then stalk off the field, refusing to cue the last card, as the stunned stadium begins to laugh. Unbeknownst to them, the merry pranksters have left the last card unchanged. Even the broadcasters in the booth are left at a loss for words. The conspirators had swapped the documents when they knew that the Huskie cheerleaders would be off at Disneyland.

That’s Wonder Woman ! I only thought there was one until I got married. Then I realized I I had married Wonder Woman. Many times may Wonder Woman left me baffled as to how much money she could spend. I remember one Christmas that Toys R’ Us called our house to see if we had certain toys in stock because they were out 😂 our neighbors always referred to our address as Toys R’ Us 2 !

Sorry I’m a bit late posting this.
There is no #65 for Clemson this year so I’m going back to spotlight a player I haven’t covered yet.
So todays player spotlight is #94 Chapman Pendergrass. He is a redshirt junior offensive lineman for the 2025 Clemson Tigers.
He played TE and T at T.L. Hanna HS.
Chap “Joined Clemson as a walk-on in the summer of 2022 … enters 2025 having played 23 career games with 51 offensive snaps.”.
He redshirted at Clemson in 2022 and was an ACC Honor Roll selection.
In 2023, He “Played 12 offensive snaps plus action on special teams over nine games … played eight snaps in collegiate debut vs. Charleston Southern … settled into key roles in protection on special teams midseason … played four offensive snaps vs. Georgia Tech … shared special teams player of the game honors for his role on the punt shield vs. No. 20 North Carolina.”.
In 2024, He “Played all 14 games, contributing 39 snaps on offense and earning a starting role on Clemson’s punt shield … played 10 snaps on the offensive line vs. Appalachian State … played seven offensive snaps at Wake Forest … played 22 snaps as Clemson rolled up 302 rushing yards vs. The Citadel.l.
