Does anyone know why Hopkins has a problem with Clemson? Why he has himself announced as a Daniel High

I’m going off my memory, which may or may not be a good idea, but I seem to remember him saying it was about recognizing Daniel, not disparaging Clemson

Sorry he has issues with stuff like that. How sad it must be to carry a grudge against us for something that happened hundreds of years ago and doesn’t have an iota of a bearing on Clemson today. If that’s what he chooses to worry about and think is important, I feel sorry for him and those around him who share his feelings. That attitude accomplishes nothing. It just adds a layer of burden he chooses to carry with him. Sad, really. He’s a gifted athlete, and this is what he chooses to dwell on.
