for Ds. I think the running clock they instituted shortened/reduced the ability for teams to rally late. I would prefer more clock stoppage opportunities late. But they could do it where some stoppages are like 30 seconds or just for literally stopping the clock - not 5 min commercial breaks. Basketball has various T/Os.

In the NFL there are various rule changes that occur after the 2 minute warning. Anyone know if this will be the case in college as well? Otherwise seems kind of pointless.

Well instead of changing the rules of football as we know it, maybe get rid some of the stupid commercials that prolong the games instead of out of boards, first down stoppages!

Well ESecPN and Fox have to get funds to pay the SEC and B1G. The ACC should be on a running clock based on what they get paid annually.
Also, it's just another step closer to the NCAA NFL Minor Football League. Start getting the rules aligned for when the break comes.

A 2 min. warning is unnecessary in any sport in my opinion. Does anyone think that the coaches don't know that time is running out. Just my opinion.

There are plenty of coaches known for horrible clock mangement...so yeah. There are plenty that need to be told.
However, I don't think it is meant as an actual "warning" but as a free timeout to ensure both teams are in a position to compete in the final stretch of the game.

What’s wrong with it? How about the fact just 1 year ago we had to shorten the game because it was too long. Now we have to add 2 more timeouts. Just what I want. More time to sit on my ### when that guy with the red shirt holds up a 4:00 time out clock.
