That is the truth. I expected them to be at any Bama game, even if they were playing SC state. They are also passing on a chance to put visor boy back on his thrown. The ESECPN CEO has to be out of country for one of those two games not to be a game day game. Heads will roll when he returns!!!

What Tiger fan wouldn't be excited about gameday. All eyes will be on Death Valley SC. 2 top ten teams going head to head. Heisman hopefuls going at it. The best atmosphere in football. Place will be nuts. Oh and who can forget all the national plublicity. Or maybe a nooner on RAYCOM Would be better?

I have discussed this ad nauseum in the past
Jul 26, 2013, 7:54 PM
|
|
so I will not go into it in detail here.
Basically, Clemson is a top 10 football team. Fans should not be all giddy over Gameday and act like we have been there before .
We have.

But a lot of the tiger fanbase has not. The lasttime we were preseason top 10 we walked into ATL and got smoked by Alabama. The time before that was like 1991. Just a guess. So a lot of people didn't get to experience the Danny days. We got tommy west, tommy bowden, and now dabo. So we appreciate getting back to our rightful place. I for one didn't get to enjoy the 70s and the 80s. But I plan on enjoying this generation of great tiger football players.

I remeber watching some of the Hatfield days. Mostly the peach bowl against Kentucky. But for the most part everytime Clemson seems to get it together. They fall flat on there faces. You know 2009 and the Woody era. The last 2 years have been great ( other than looseing to the coots). And I'm hopeing this year is the year. Go Tigers. Beat UGA.

Gameday. You do realize they're 17 year olds all over the USA that will be watching that game. And a few might make there choice to play for the Tigers because of that game. Anyway you cut it. It's a big deal. Win that game and it puts us on the path for greatness. That special moment Jan. 1 1982. That could happen again this year. And that all starts Aug 31st.

Yes sir , they may make their choice because of that game . Because Clemson, Death Valley and Tiger fans are awesome.
The game is on ABC nationally.

This will be a golden opportunity for some of our newly recruits. A chance to set the stage for a golden college football career right out of the gates, at the top of hill, in the national spotlight, in front of the whole world. Some can only dream of this type of spotlight, this type of hype, this golden opportunity. ALL IN IN ALL YOU DO FOR A GOLDEN START IN YOUR VERY FIRST COLLEGE GAME. CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

They didn't need to slip up we knew..you don't have this caliber of match up on primetime television and then send the gameday crew to Mizzou vs. Murray state.
