tell the truth... does this NC State game make you nervous?

In a way, I am glad Clemson D made Brent V mad bc Tigers will need to play well. NC State QB and offense must be better than we think.
Mobile QB has been a thorn to us at times.
What are some realistic expectations for this game?
Is this a trap/upset possibility?
Is NC State a threat?

Clemson needs to play better to win. But we have way more talent.

Stuff their run and make Brissett pass.
Then actually wrap up on some sacks. He made FSU look silly on that highlight play.
He's a big kid, but I don't think he's elite at all. Rattle him and they fall aparat.

Not really... They played well against FSU yeah but

they had to get a last minute TD to beat Georgia Southern and they had to come from behind to also beat Old Dominion. I think it could be competitive at halftime, but Tigers pull away and win 49-24 by the end of it.

Like hearing that.
I have paid no attention to any other team but Clemson. I just want to see Clemson win out.

We should win handily, but a big mobile QB can always make enough plays to stay in it.

I am always anxious until I see the beginning of the game to see the intensity the D brings to the game. I hate seeing huge pass over the middle plays. NC State can beat us but I hope our good D shows up. We should win 45-24

With Deshaun Watson as our QB I am always confident.
I like their QB but I love our defense A LOT more.

I try not to worry but the mobile qb thing does make me somewhat worried. Remember how CJ Brown torched us a couple of years ago?

Yes. UNC, NC State, Louisville, and Boston College are all games we have to show up ready to play, players and coaches.

If game was in Raleigh, maybe, but they're on their third coach since they last won in DV in 2002.

I don't think their defense is good enough

If we come out and make a bunch of mistakes on offense, we could lose. But NCSU allowed over 160 yards rushing against a pretty bad FSU rushing attack. Even Clemson runs it better than FSU.
I'm expecting something like 42- 21.

Nervous, not really

Realistic that they are not the sort of team who can't beat us if we don't bring the A game? Yeah.
Their QB is pretty good, and can be an issue if our offense sputters and we have the late UNC game missed assignments on defense.
I don't see it happening, but it'd be foolish to think it's not possible.

We were coming off a heart breaking loss and didn't play well, Bowden loses this game as a coach. NC St always plays big games well at home, on the road they wilt. This will be their first big road fame all year, they will get rattled when we make our run...

Clemson has one huge "intanglble" advantage---and thats NCSt's slack schedule ('cept FlaSt). It'll be NCSt's 5th game of the season, and they have yet to play in a hostile environment on the road---(they played at So. Fla. in front of about 37 people). Death Valley is a TOUGH place to break in road play.
That coupled with the reality that Clemson is W-A-A-A-Y more talented than the wuffies should be a notch in the Tiger's left hand column

Not at all

NC State's record consists of wins (and not even particularly good wins) against garbage teams, plus one flukey competitive loss against FSU--whom they always play tough in Raleigh (FSU must wake up in a cold sweat every other year having to go to Raleigh). They don't stand a chance on Saturday.
