People are interested in him for the same reason that some NFL team will take a chance on him with a late draft pick. He's tall, built, and has a strong arm and coaches will always feel they can fix whatever issues have caused struggles in the past for players like that.

Doubt FSU would take him tbh. Might be a backup plan. There are a number of transfers that are much better, and FSU seemingly has the money.

There are a bunch of better options but honestly why would FSU be appealing? They were attractive this past off-season because of all the veteran pieces that had in place.
Pretty sure they lose a lot this year.
But then again $$$ talks.

defense who knows all of his shortcomings, of which there are many, and will exploit them.
I can't imagine FSU would want him. He's not going to elevate their team.

Is he going to finally find the “system” that fits DJU? I was told it was Clemson’s system, but then he posted nearly identical numbers, with fewer wins, in the OSU system that I was led to believe was tailor made for him. I’m starting to think it’s not the system.

If they are going to pay big money for a QB, and there are tons. Why pay for the worst one? I hope he goes there too. He’s not much better if at all than their current backup.

FSU has always had quick, athletic QBs who can run the ball. DJ isn’t any of these things.

It seems reasonable that Norvell will try to get a 1 and doner from the portal.
But, he holds everything very close to the vest. Lot's of speculation that DJU is high on his list. But, that is just speculation. There are several QBs in the portal that seem to better fit his offense than DJU.
But, lot's of questions that nobody knows the answer, except Mike, and he ain't telling.
1. How much money will it cost?
2. With all the talent being lost this year, how much is it worth to bring in a QB if that QB isn't good enough for FSU to be in the fight for the ACC championship and playoff?
3. Could the NIL money be better spent shoring up other positions (biggest ones being OL, LB and DL)?
4. Of all the QBs in the portal which ones are interested in FSU and are they a "good fit"?
5. Is DJU even interested in coming back to the east coast or does he want to stay out west?
We will have a whole lot better idea once we see who comes on an official visit. Until then, everybody is guessing.
