Noon Kickoffs?

Lol I hated them in the Bowden days simply because I never knew which team of ours would show up (The 13-12 Maryland game comes to mind from 06'). Now its more of an enjoyable experience. Not to mention, you still have the rest of the daylight to have fun, relax or run errands.
Thoughts on noon kickoffs now? Love, hate or somewhere in the middle?

for road games only. When going to the game, there is little time to enjoy Clemson before the game and typically head home after the game which eats up the rest of the day on the road.

Not good at all for homecoming

Really cuts into the time for walking around looking at the displays, going to your department’s tailgate, etc.
Plus traffic is a nightmare because everyone gets there at the same time.

I like noon games, especially when it's not hot outside, get a win and have the rest of the day for other things.

I like it for a home game when the other team has the travel half the country to get here

It's about a 4 hour drive for me so if it's noon I come up the night before, if it's later I spend the night and go home the next morning. For tailgating purposes, I like a later game. Either way, it cost me a hotel room. When I was young I'd make it a one day trip. I'm too old for that now. LOL

I would rather have this week be 3:30pm, however I would rather the Noon vs the night game this week. After back to back to back night games I'm looking forward to a different time slot.

Love noon kickoffs for the family, we have a four hour ride but with noon kickoffs we can usually get home around nine so it isn’t to late for the little ones. My favorite will always be night games though nothing beats Death Valley under the lights

Noon Kickoffs.

Against lesser opponents (Furman, La Tech, Wofford) is fine. Big matchups, whether rivalry or due to standings, I will always prefer Night games! Death Valley has all the bells and whistles to really shine for night games. One more intimidation factor.

Not that it will ever matter….TV controls all. Wish we kicked off as in the old days….1:00 pm. Get it over with.

For those earlier games our crowd would leave Columbia

around six to try to be in our reserved parking around 8:30 or so.
That gave us several hours before kickoff to tailgate. Then, we had plenty of time post-game to tailgate some more, usually for two to three hours. By then the crowd had thinned, making the return fairly easy, Hence, we didn't mind those earlier ones, other than my son and his friends, all of whom I roused around 4:30 or so to eat breakfast and get ready to leave. (lol) His typical comment was the early mornings were easy for me, as I rise around three or three thirty daily. Him, almost never unless we were leaving on a trip.

For the birds. It's all stress - like having to catch an early flight. No time for leisurely activities.
A night game, on the other hand, backfills the day and requires stricter Bloody Mary discipline. One must pace oneself.
A 3 pm kickoff is ideal.

But it’s pretty darn close to the Clemson tradition of 1:00pm kickoffs.
I don’t think people complained back then. We just ate biscuits and taped our ankles.

Hate noon kicks. Limited tailgating which is a huge part of the game day experience for us. Love night games but would be fine if more games were at 3:30.
