Noon Game question

3

Oct 14, 2024, 8:43 AM

I live out of the area and havent been to a noon game in a while. As I recall you need to get parked fairly early because the traffic all seems to arrive at once. Is this still the case? We want to make sure the grandson gets to Tigerwalk.

Also do the concessions take cash as well as card and do they still do seat back rentals? Thanks

Yeah traffic stinks for noon games before 9 is your best bet

I'm pretty sure they still take cash as this forum would have melted down into oblivion had there been a change. The new seat backs are terrible so if you have better ones of your own you might wanna bring em.

Concessions are now cashless, and as the old ad said, don't leave home without your Mastercard or Visa because they don't take American Express.

In the North Upper deck you can still rent the old style seats for $15 each.***

Concessions are cashless now. Also there is very little non permit parking now. Best bet is the Walker course driving range.

To accomplish "beating the crowd", I'd suggest being parked by 8:00 am.

Yes re traffic. Get there early. Noon games are worst for getting in and getting parked. Good news is...getting out is the easiest. Since the weather looks good, people departing will be spaced out and less congestion on the exit. Get their early! Get parked and enjoy the splendor of Tigertown on Football Saturday! Nothing better.

Depends on where you park and

Which direction you’re coming from. By all means avoid the traffic on Perimeter road just before Tigerwalk. They block the road around 15 minutes before the buses arrive, so around 9:45 AM this week. In order to see the team get off the buses or walk toward the stadium you need to be in place around 9:30.
Yes, traffic is MUCH worse for noon games so leave early and plan to be parked by 9 AM.

Concessions do take cash at designated locations. I purchased a hot dog and coke and paid in cash at the last ball game in Clemson.

So far, I have been able to use my "evil" cash for concessions.

The concession stand to the right of portal TDF has about 8? total lines. The line furthest to the right is a "Cash and Credit Card" line. all others are credit card only. If that line goes away, I will be sure to eat before walking into the stadium so that I can avoid buying a box of popcorn with a freakin' credit card! On every piece of USA paper money, it states "This note is legal tender for all debts, public and private."
