Samol could easily be one of our aces next year. His stuff has higher ceiling than Knaak, and that's saying a lot. Knaak will be the model of consistency because he has command of all his pitches, and not just control, which is unbelievable for a true freshman. Control is when you know which side of the plate your pitches are going. Command is when you can pitch to all 9 sections of the strike zone with accuracy. If Knaak misses he has a better chance of getting hit than Samol, because his stuff isn't overpowering to most hitters. If he continues to develop the movement his splitter or 2-seam fastball then his ceiling also raises. Samol has elite movement and elite velocity. Plus, he's a lefty, with a coveted high leverage arm slot that generates a ton of spin rate.

Prather was a highly ranked prospect out of high school that flirted with the draft, but a late season injury and his commitment to Clemson kind of quelled those talks at draft time. Having Jarrell and Obertop allowed him to redshirt and take his time rehabbing this past season. He's always been known as an elite defender behind the plate. If he hits .280 or better, that would be icing on the cake.
