I didn’t think that we would get in the CFP but that we only jumped the real USC after destroying Carolina and winning the ACC shows just how little they think of us. They should stop talking about the importance of winning conferences. That’s some bunk.

Syracuse was simply overrated. NC State is a different team without Leary. Wake was playing much better early in the season. Ohio State beat a completely different ND team than we lost to.
You kind of have to figure out what Should have been the ranking at the time of the game. You can't judge solely on final rankings or gametime rankings.

We lost to our in state rivals and our championship game was against a UNC team that finished the season unranked. Is it really that hard to realize why no one gives a crap about the ACC championship? Clemson is the only team holding the conference up right now.

Hard to get respect for beating up on the ACC. Actually, Clemson probably gets more respect than they deserve. Tulane had a better resume.
If we want to get respect, we should play at least 2 good OOC opponents instead of the usual 1. It just seems like the ACC gets worse and worse.

I love how the narrative is always switching between beating teams when they play that are ranked, which Clemson did multiple times this year but then switches to final ranking when it doesn't fit. You cant play the end of season ranked team in the middle of the year. If you go by what teams were ranked when they played Clemson has one of the stronger schedules. Most of the teams they played were ranked or just outside the rankings close enough to jump in after winning vs Clemson, i.e. Scar and ND.

The balance of our season is still largely unchanged by one good performance against UNC. We still got blown out by a team that SC beat fairly easily. Klubnik looking great in 1 game doesn't undo the other 12 games we already played.

Not that I think that we were better than Southern Cal with a healthy Caleb Williams, but I think that USC playing in South Bend and the same weather that we did would change the game quite a bit.
