The coots have a full team of portal
Players. We can’t get one on campus. Years of speaking against the portal and nil I believe has an impact on this

Didn't they make 15 offers so far and got 2? Not exactly a full team.
We are 0 for 2. Wish we had gotten them, but as Dabo says they have to like you too. We have been and will continue to be a program built on quality high school players, with a couple portal players here and there. Anyone that doesn't like it, too bad. Dabo is the coach, that is his vision and he is a heck if a lot better being a college coach than the fans are. Might as well quit fussing about it because he isn't going to alter the plan too much

They are ranked 8th in recruiting from the portal. They've improved their team but of all their portal gets, only one could get decent playing time with our Tigers.

When the existing players scatter like roaches after being exposed to light, what do you expect. UofSC will never be relevant if they have to hit the portal like this every year.

If you haven’t seen our depth chart for next season on the OL and LB specifically… then you should go look bc we have plenty of reasons to worry… especially at those 2 positions.

other than Parker Denhoff is the only returning player with significant snaps at defensive end that's a big problem.

Clemson has also been clear that they prefer not to entertain portal players that only have one year of eligibility left. That cuts the pool down considerably from the start.

Yea well Swinney's philosophy on that is hot garbage. The data speaks for itself...He's been getting his @$$ beat by portal players for 4 years now...Yet he just wants to continue to be organ donors for the portal and other programs...He develops them and other programs squeeze them the juice.

What team has beat his ###? Duke and ND are the only ones in the past 2 years that have won by multiple scores and they didn’t have many portal players. We literally lost to FSU in overtime.

Are the Tigers supposed to offer every portal player that comes out? Scholarship numbers are close and a couple additional 2024 offers have been made.
Also, there are 6+ months before the team arrives for summer school and summer workouts. Between now and then, there's still another portal blast to come after spring practice and a chance to connect if the need arises.
