That may be true, but I doubt that could happen at CU…. With the current sports priorities here (and I’m in the football/baseball priority camp myself), I think Brad is about as good as it gets. If we can play top 25 basketball every year, I’m interested

Yeah, I hated the loss myself, but the players have to bring it too and they aren’t kids anymore… looked to me like the other team wanted it more, and that’s why they call it March Madness. I’m personally happy with Brad, but am also embarrassed with that loss…

We play sports to win championships. We have zero championships (save the “world championship”) of any kind in 15 years.
We are putting enough into the program to expect championships.

That's ridiculous. 300 teams and our achievable goal is a natty every year in a sport and culture where NO blue chips are coming here? To be rated 10th to 12th in the AP as the dance starts is beyond great.

We've poured big $$$$$$ into hoops this past decade ourselves, our budget continues to climb, and we aren't going anywhere in the resources space anytime soon. Just ask the Brownell Brigade who claim all the extra $$$ lately has made us 'winners'.

Postseason >> regular season.
We were exposed for what we are in the postseason. Nice regular season but it’s not as important as 1-2 in the postseason. Postseason results were far below expectations and a major disappointment. A nice regular season in perhaps one of the worst ACCs ever is outweighed by the postseason collapse.

Make NO mistake about it if Brad were coaching football here no ACC championships and those embarrassing lows would get him shown the door. This university doesn't really have high expectations when it comes to Basketball.

I don't hate him, either. I just don't think he is a very good coach. I also agree that it appears that Clemson is not interested in having a basketball program that competes for championships like the football program. Looks like they think Brad is the best we can do. I lowered my expectations ten years ago. The Bowden comparison is a good one. We need someone else to take us to the next level.
