Honestly, after seeing the insane field rush from Virginia in hearing how people got their legs crushed, no one should storm the field anymore. An argument could be made that it’s trespassing. Why do people get arrested if they rush the field during the game but not moments afterwards?
I think all Clemson fans love gathering at the paw. And perhaps we can keep doing it if everyone listens to the timer and gathers after the away team leaves the field.
However, maybe there should be a clock everywhere for fans to follow if they want to come on the field after a big win. I don’t think anyone likes hearing about girls having their leg legs snapped in half and then trampled on. Or players hitting fans. Or fans hitting players. That’s pretty ridiculous.

I see hooligans run on the field sometimes but I’ve never seen fans rush the field in pro soccer. Not that I watch it a ton. So I definitely could be wrong and I’m trusting your input.

There are not students at NFL games. You cannot begin to think there would enough police to arrest anyone, and high fences would be the only answer but nobody wants to watch a game through a fence.

I watched the game, and I was more worried about the players who were down in that corner of the end zone that absolutely got mowed down. Two of them were on the ground from the play. Where did you see the anything about broken legs and people getting run over. I’ve heard nothing about it or seen nothing. They were lined up behind that end zone ready to charge the field with about three minutes left when they thought the game was gonna be over then. Virginia should’ve been aware of that and had some kind of security.If They’re stupid enough to charge the field like I saw, I don’t feel that sorry for them.

I don’t remember where I saw an article. Perhaps on ESPN. Some guy got slammed against the wall and got rashes and skin chafing from it. Some girl fractured her leg and have the bone sticking out. Yeah I know it’s their fault. It’s still crazy though because the players coaches safety is also a huge concern.

The fans coming down from the end zone looked like liquid pouring down onto the field. Never seen such a fast and violent rush. If you were in your seat and didn’t want to go down you were going to get crushed.

Easy way to stop the field storming. Place police K-9's every 10 yards apart in front of the student section and end zone in the last five minutes of the 4th qtr. Students will stay in their seats.
