I know there’s a landfill right off of I-20, between Lugoff-Elgin and Clemson Road in Columbia. It’s gotten bigger and bigger over the years. And the smell is horrible going by it on I-20. You can see the scenic view driving into Columbia. My kids call it Mount Gamecock.

It must also get some of the drift winds from Mt Trashmore behind the Chlt Speedway. Think the Smith family is trying to rival Mt Everest. The equipment moving refuse at the top look like ants from ground level off Hwy29. Landfill is the wrong term to describe it.
