But definitely see where he's coming from. Cain only here 2 more years though, so Overton would be behind him playing as a redshirt freshman if he works hatd

freshman 5* too. We used to always say, "Come to Clemson and play right away. If you go to (FSU, bama, uga etc) you will be behind a bunch of great players" Of course before that we looked like the coots, a bunch of 2 stars a few 3 stars and 1-2 4 stars. Of course stars didn't mean anything and we had to trust our coaches.

I don't see where everyone thinks a starter plays every snap? It's ok to be deep with talent and just like Renfrow a walk on you can play immediately because a set of fresh legs are always welcome. At NC state he will be run ragged

No QB and state seems to take 4 years to developed one. Not to mention watching everyone else go to big bowls. Come to Clemson. You'll be glad you did. GO TIGERS!!

That's the first time I've heard John Simpson interviewed, he seems like a well spoken, smart young man. Quick to smile, I think he'd fit in great with our guys.

David how did Troy Pride look? A lot of people on twitter are raving about him. Looks look like Clemson could land him if they pushed hard.

CUPeake19 I looked at him for just a few minutes today - I am going to take some pics and really focus on him in the morning. But from what I saw he looked like he has that quick twitch you're looking for.

I recall reading DL had a scheduling conflict that would force him to miss a practice, so he dropped out. Was that his Monday announcement? I don't remember specifics.

The Clemson commit has a tendency to take plays off and it's easy to get complacent during the long week of practices. But it's only day two and he was already loafing and getting blocked by his teammates who are likely FCS talents at best. Maybe Pinckney is a gamer but he'll have to pick it up. - See more at: https://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1837323#sthash.dNGkxfFv.dpuf

by the name of Jordan Fair. Heard he was pretty good, I haven't seen him, but should be at the Shrine Bowl. Have you seen him and if so, what are your thoughts?

Overton, reminds me alot of Stanton Seckinger and Brandon Ford when they were in high school.

Were Seckinger and Ford rated close to 124 nationally overall and the 26th wide receiver?
Google is my friend.
Ford was not rated in the national 250 and was rated the 46th best wide receiver.
Seckinger was not rated at all.
Mike Williams was rated as the 222th best recruit nationally and the 27th best wide receiver.
Both Williams and Overton are very good basketball players. Williams was 6'4" coming out of high school and Overton is 6'5".

is your friend it would've told you that 222th isn't a thing. I think that Williams was recruited by more though.
