No ACC left in the NCAA?

I thought for sure between UVA and Louisville the conference - or soon to be in the conference - would be represented in the Final Four.
Worse, at this point it is dominated by the B1G and SEC....ugh.

But there are two still playing in late March haha I'll honestly say, we couldn't have played with any of those teams in the top 16 teams. I have been watching those games all of last week. And some of them are really really good teams. I think that the best ones I've seen play is Fla, Wisconsin, Uconn, and Michigan are playing some strong BB. JMO but, I've only been a BB fan for the last 5/6 years. But the teams I mention look really good....

But it's still a little aggravating that out of all the ACC teams that went to the NCAA, none will make it to the finals.
Didn't expect much out of NCSU. But a little surprised how early Duke and UNC fizzled out and even a little more surprised at how Cuse seemed to tank by the time they played Dayton. 0 of 10 on 3 pointers for God's sake!!
UVA played hard, but their defense just couldn't stop the Spartans towards the end, as good as it is even. And their shooting was pretty cold too. 57 attempts at 2 points! Only 20 made!!!!
I have no doubt the ACC remains strong. And I'm sure next year could be better no doubt.
But I just don't have any reason to watch any more. Not that dedicated to college BB I guess.....

UNC plays SCAR in the women's Sweet 16. There's still some ACC to pull for.

Kentucky is a training stop for the NBA. Every two years

they recruit 5 or 6 of the very best players in America. Two years later these guys are gone to the NBA. It's a joke. There is no such thing as a true "student athlete" at Kentucky.

Cal recruits the best bc he can get them and makes kids better people/players and gives them a platform to be drafted quicker. He doesn't hold kids back like ALOT of coaches...coach K, Boehim, Pitino to name a few.
His kids go to class, get high GPAs and the ones that stay graduate.
Some of the senior laden teams like UF have senior guys bc they weren't good enough to get drafted.

NOT TRUE. ACC is still the BEST top to bottom.

Just because the SEC has Kentucky and UF left doesn't make them a better conference. ACC adds Louisville next year. Duke and UNC will always be top program. Syracuse is always going to be a top program. NC State and Wake will usually have good programs. And CLEMSON is on the way up.
The ACC had more teams in top 20 all year long, I believe.

I would say the B1G is the BEST. 3 teams in final 8

The ACC used to dominate them in the ACC vs B1G challenge. Now we lose or tie.

The ACC coddles Dook, NC, others but not CU, FSu. That type of bb in ACC doesn't transfer to tournament. So those teams don't know how to play tournament bb.

How many refs missed that obvious push off last night in UVA

game? It was obvious to everyone watching the game. Too bad NONE of the refs there saw it or called it. It could have led to a UVA win and we would not be talking about this today.

My point was about UNC and Duke, not the rest of the ACC. We all know that those two do get preferential treatment by ACC officials, then usually get upset in the tournament because they don't get the same treatment as they do with their own officials.

The ACC knew that a bogus no call when we played Dook would likely keep us out of the NCAAT.
The ACC hasn't done jack #### for us in basketball except treat us like jobbers in their rigged pro wrestling conference.
No ACC teams left? Call it "karma."

The "ACC" usually consists of UNC and Duke.

When those 2 teams fail, the ACC is seen as a failure.

You are unfortunately very right. Duke/UNC rate as #3 and #4 all time in the NCAA tournament. While that is wonderful, the rest of the conference has - over the past decade - realized less success than in the past and the ACC overall has diminished a notch or two.

to improve on that. Clearly most of the expansion teams (Cuse, Pitt, Louisville at least) have longer/better BB records than FB records.
Not disagreeing that the center of the ACC BB universe is DukeUNC, but just that maybe the idea was to expand that center a little.

It was WAY obvious. It was very late in the game, and could have easily decided the game - 4 point swing.
