Actually their metrics are pretty good on some other NIT brackets. They had a decent winning %.

Yeah but got better. Had a decent record in what most consider one of the top 3 conferences yhis season. Now they won't get far, but might get a road game.

We wouldn't want to play them again. It cost them a few games in December because they were short 6 players. 3 starters against us due to injuries and covid. Frank could have asked to reschedule. I respect that he didn't. Who knows what the results would have been but imagine if we had 6 players, 3 starters out.
We had injuries too but it actually didn't cost us any games. We support Clemson. Some here would like to ignore the truth and act like we had a good season but we didn't. As with SCar, we won a few games against teams with depleted rosters.
Our SOS was 85, probably lower after tonight's game. We played 1 top 30 (35 net) team this year and lost both. Sorry, close loss is a loss.

I'm not saying the Tigers aren't better, but SC got better just like Clemson. Remember teams are determined by their SOS and wins sos, . Coots actually beat a team or two that are making the NCAAT like LSU. Clemson no unless VT gets in, and the Tigers beat Notre Dame and either UNC or Duke in Semis.

A team the Tigers beat Bryant is winning big in their Conference tourney championship. That would help the Tigers cause, but Bryant probably will be a 16 seed playing in Dayton.
